lint‐freecloths,isopropylalcohol,andcompressedair.

othwithisopropylalcohol.
2 Gentlywipethe
fiberendwiththemoistenedcloth.

ingadrylint‐freecloth,gentlywipethefiberend.
4 Sp
raythecompressedairawayfromtheconnectorforafewsecondstocleanoutthenozzle
andthenuseittocompletelydrytheconnector.

Performcabletestingandrecordtheresults.TestresultsarerequiredforthefinalAs‐Built
Document.
ConnectingtheFiberCables
Thefibercableislabeledwitheither1or2,oriscolor‐coded.Inadditiontotheselabels,you
shouldaddacodethatidentifieswhichportontheMainHubisbeingusedandwhichExpansion
Hubthecablesareintendedfor.Thisdifferentiatestheconnectorsforproperconnectionbetween
theMainHubandExpansionHubs.
Forexample:
FirstpairtoMainHubport1:1
1(uplink),12(downlink);
SecondpairtoMainHubport2:21(uplink),22(downlink);
ThirdpairtoMainHubport3:31(uplink),
32(downlink);andsoon.
NOTE: TheFusionWidebandOnePortMainHub(PN:FSN‐1‐MH‐1PandFSN‐2‐MH‐2‐1P)configuration
isacostreducedversionoftheFusionWidebandMainHubandsupportsonlyoneExpansionHub
(upto8RAUs).
