A.1 Coaxial Cable
For Duplex RF Connections
• Connects a Main Hub to a repeater or duplex base station
• Provides bidirectional downlink and uplink transmission with one cable for duplex
RF connections
For Simplex RF Connections
• Connects a Main Hub to a repeater or simplex base station
• Provides unidirectional downlink and uplink signals on separate cables for simplex
RF connections
A.2 Multimode Fiber Cable
• Connects Main Hub to Expansion Hub(s)
• Transmits (downlink) and receives (uplink) cellular
and PCS signals
• Accommodates distances up to 1 km (3300 ft)
• Use industry-standard 62.5µm/125µm fiber
