an external earphone jack.
Access:
Each level can have 8 messages.
Generating Language:
Create overlays with your choice of
symbols to represent each recorded
message.
Symbols:
8 minutes total recording time (10
seconds per message).
Speech:
A recorded speech device that can be
accessed via direct touch or
scanning. Record up to 6 pages with 8
messages on each page. The
device has built-in LED lights
embedded in the overlay grid. 
The device has a shatterproof, high
impact moulded case and is designed
to be drop-resistant. The water-
resistant membrane panel operates
with a light touch.
Smart/Scan 8 Plus
The Smart/Scan 8 Plus has a 'Smart
Overlay System'. Each overlay can be
keyed by making a hole in
a designated location, using a hole
punch. Simply change the overlay and
the level automatically changes. The
device senses the hole pattern to
determine the level.
The device has a hinged door which
protect and hides the
volume, recording and scanning
controls.

The SuperTalker can be set up to work
in 1, 2, 4 or 8 key layouts. It comes
with keyguards for each of these
settings that are stored in a
compartment in the device.

Both models of the SuperTalker can be
operated by Direct Access to the
membrane keypad.
The SuperTalker with Jacks and
Relays has 8 switch sockets. Each
switch will play back a single message
stored in one of the SuperTalker's 8
message locations.
Access:
8 levels, with a choice of 1,2, 4 or 8
messages per level.
"Step Ahead Jack" - Plug any
standard switch into this jack, then
press your switch to play all of the
recorded messages in sequence.

or words to represent stored
messages.

range of developing communication
needs. It allows for multiple levels of
recorded messages, has a choice of
keyboard layouts and comes with a set
of keyguards.

storage for the SuperTalker, overlays,
gridmaking software and other

The SuperTalker with Jacks and
Relays has two toy relay sockets for
connecting the device to a switch-
adapted toy or appliance. This
provides fun reinforcement and
encourages the individual to access
their device: as the message is spoken,
the toy will play along.
