Plug in a switch adapted toy or
appliance for fun reinforcement of the
recorded message. The toy will play
along with the message. (Cable not

This can encourage a person to use
the device or be used to teach a
particular concept. For example, a toy
dog could walk along while the
recorded message says "Walk!"
Output:
Play the message back by hitting the
top surface of the Chipper. You can
also connect any standard switch.
Access:
When you press the Chipper it plays
a single message. You choose and
record a message that is suitable for
the user. This makes it suitable for a
variety of purposes including:
• Calling for attention or requesting
help.
• Saying a repeated line in a story.
• Saying hello or goodbye to friends.
• Telling news or a special story.
• Telling a joke.
To get the most out of this tool many
users benefit from having a helper to
record new messages throughout the
day so that messages are appropriate
for participating in each new activity.
