Displaying Overall Statistics
Aggregate statistics for all partition LUNs can be displayed in two
formats:
■ List of general statistics. (Similar statistics are also available for
individual partition LUNs. For more information, see Viewing
Partition Statistics on page 2-25.)
– I/O operations per second (IOPS)
– Bandwidth (in millions of bytes per second)
– Number of read operations
– Number of write operations
– Total sectors (512 bytes) read
– Total sectors written
– Total current command queue depth across all LUNs
■ Histogram of host reads/writes. This shows how many host
reads and writes fell into a particular size range. The I/O ranges
are based on powers of two:
–1 Sector
– 2–3 Sectors
– 4–7 Sectors
– 8–15 Sectors
– 16–31 Sectors
– 32–63 Sectors
– 64–127 Sectors
– 128–255 Sectors
– 256–511 Sectors
– 512–1023 Sectors
– 1024–2047 Sectors
– 2048 (and larger) Sectors
