Creating and Managing Arrays and Partitions
To view the status of a partition:
1 Display the Partition Menu. (See Table 2-3):
The Partition Menu screen appears.
2 Select Partition Status and press Enter.
That partition’s Partition Status window appears.
3 Press Esc to return to the Partition Menu.
Viewing Partition Statistics
You can view these statistics for current partitions:
■ Read—Total number of host read requests directed to the
partition.
■ Write—Total number of host write requests directed to the
partition.
■ SecRd—Total number of sectors read from the partition.
■ SecWt—Total number of sectors written to the partition.
■ Queue depth—Current number of commands from the host
that are queued up.
■ IO size—Last host I/O block size request in 512-byte sectors.

1 From the System Menu, select
Array Menu and press Enter.
The Select Array menu appears.
2 Select the array you want and
press Enter.
That array’s Array menu
appears.
3 Select Partition Menu and
press Enter.
The Select Partition menu
appears.
4 Select the partition you want
and press Enter.
1 From the System Menu, select
All Partitions Menu and press
Enter.
The Select Partition or Free
Area menu appears with a list
of existing partitions and free
space.
2 Select the partition you want
and press Enter.
