Connecting External SCSI Devices—Desktop Models
Before you connect external SCSI devices, you should reassemble
your computer and restore power.
Reassembling the Computer and Restoring Power
Note: Instructions for tower models begin on
page 2-34.
If you installed internal devices, before you reassemble your
computer, check the following:
■ Is each SCSI chain properly terminated?
■ Is each SCSI device on a specific SCSI chain set to a unique
SCSI ID?
■ If you have a processor card, is it firmly seated and secured in
its expansion card slot?
■ Is the PowerDomain 2940UW/3940UW firmly seated and
secured in its expansion card slot?
■ Are internal and external SCSI devices firmly connected to
the PowerDomain 2940UW/3940UW?
