Note: Be sure to terminate the device at the end of

the SCSI chain. (Termination is explained in Setting

SCSI Chain Termination on page 2-48.) Be sure to

check the documentation included with your SCSI

device for any special installation instructions.

Connecting External SCSI Devices—Tower Models

page 2-41.

Before you connect external SCSI devices, you should reassemble

your computer and restore power.

Reassembling the Computer and Restoring Power

If you installed internal devices, before you reassemble your

computer, check the following:

■ Is each SCSI chain properly terminated?

■ Is each SCSI device on a specific SCSI chain set to a unique

SCSI ID?

■ Is the PowerDomain 2940UW/3940UW firmly seated and

secured in its expansion card slot?

■ Are internal and external SCSI devices firmly connected to

the PowerDomain 2940UW/3940UW?
