HBA Drivers
Your SG-XPCIE8SAS-I-Z adapter requires the correct drivers if it is to perform
properly. The drivers you need depend on your OS, and can be found on the Tools &
Drivers CD for your server.
There are various ways to make sure that you have the correct drivers:
■ If you use the Sun Installation Assistant (SIA) to install a Linux or Windows OS,
the correct drivers will automatically be installed for you.
■ If you install a Linux or Windows OS manually, you need to obtain the drivers
from the Tools & Drivers CD and install them yourself.
■ If you install a Solaris OS, the drivers are included in the OS for Solaris 10 8/07
and later versions.
The Tools & Drivers CD
A Tools & Drivers CD is delivered with your server.
You can also download an ISO image of the Tools & Drivers CD from the Sun web
site.
