Follow the onscreen instructions.
If Windows 95 does not detect the SlimSCSI 1480, run the Add New
Hardware Wizard again:

Double-click Add New Hardware in the Control Panel.

Select No on the second screen of the wizard.

Select SCSI controllers on the next screen.

Select the model of your Adaptec SCSI adapter.
If the SlimSCSI 1480 is not listed, you may be able to install the
driver from the Windows 95 CD-ROM. To do this, follow these
steps:

Place the Windows 95 CD-ROM in your CD-ROM drive and
run the Add New Hardware wizard.

Select No on the second screen of the wizard.

Select SCSI controllers on the next screen.

Click the Have Disk button, then click the Browse button.

Look in the
\drivers\storage
directory of the CD-ROM and
select the model of your SCSI adapter.
The SlimSCSI 1480 software driver does not appear under the SCSI
Controllers icon in Device Manager. However, there is a listing for
PCMCIA CardBus Controller under the Other Devices icon in Device
Manager. What does this mean?
The SlimSCSI 1480 driver is not loading and must be reinstalled. Fol-
low these steps to reinstall the driver:

Insert the SlimSCSI 1480 driver diskette in the floppy disk
drive.

Double-click the Add New Hardware icon in Control Panel.

Select No on the second screen of the wizard.

Select SCSI controllers on the next screen.

Click the Have Disk button, and then click OK.
6
Select Adaptec APA-1480 CardBus Controller.
