9.4 BATTERY
• The scales can be operated from the battery, if desired. The battery life is
approximately 90 hours.
• The charge state indicator displays three stages.
• To charge the battery, simply plug the scale into the mains and switch the mains power
ON. The scale does not need to be turned on.
• The battery should be charged for at least 12 hours for full capacity.
• If the battery has not been used properly or it is used for a number of years it may
eventually fail to hold a full charge. If the battery life becomes unacceptable then
contact your supplier.
