Step 10 - Saving ADA Files
Once you have built an entire IRL
for a customer, you can save the
layout as an ADA customer file. All
ADA customer files can be no more
than eight characters in length and
must end in “.ada”. To save a file:
1 From the File pull down window
select “Save As.”
2A Save As window will open.
Navigate to the Customer folder
in the right window and then type
in a project name under File
name. The project name could
be the customer’s name followed
by the “.ada” ending.
3 Then press OK.
Step 11 - Loading ADA Files
To load an ADA file, select Open
from the pull down menu under File.
An Open window will appear. Navi-
gate to the Customer folder in the
right window and then select the
project you wish to open.
Step 12 - Downloading to IRL
Once you have built an entire IRL
for a customer you are ready to load
(download) to the IRL. Please note,
that if the IRL has already been
previously loaded, this step will
erase all codes currently in the
IRL. As such, if you are adding a
component, you will need to
download all source files and not
just the new components.
1 Check the “Fill in feedback” box.
2 From the Options pull down win-
dow select “Download.”
The IRL will automatically begin the
process of downloading to the IRL.
The screen will flash buttons as they
are being loaded. When the flash-
ing ends, the IRL is loaded.
