PC PROGRAM SETUP - TUNERS
The PC program for the setup of the HTR-
2400’s two Tuners is called HTR-TN#.exe,
where the # refers to the version number.
Here you select your Com port. The LAN
option is for use with the ISO-E. The HTR-
2400 is typically set to 19200 baud and CTS
is usually set to Ignored. As with the Multi-
Room and Home Theater PC programs, you
can select to view commands or feedback by
selecting their view option box.
The Control top tab reveals the tuner con-
trols and the red squares are update requests.
To control a specific tuner, select its Slot #.
The other buttons on this page will now con-
trol the tuner selected. If you have selected
the XM Tuner, several of the buttons permit
you to determine signal strength as well as
signal diagnostics. Again, you can fully con-
trol both tuners just as you would from the
front panel of the HTR-2400.
When you select a Slot # top tab, you can
pull the existing tuner presets by selecting
Retrieve All. Now you can select a Tuner
Band, select a frequency, and relabel the pre-
set number (i.e. JAZZ, WABC, NEWS, etc.).
You can repeat these steps for as many as
30 presets per tuner module. This also per-
mits you to overwrite existing presets or elimi-
nate presets entirely. You can also set a sta-
tion to stereo or mono (FM only) and adjust
filters. The XM tuner only permits entering of
preset channel numbers.
You can save this tuner file or load in previ-
ously saved tuner files.
