PC PROGRAM SETUP - HOME THEATER
The PC program for the setup of the
HTR-2400’s Home Theater system
is called HTR-HT#.exe, where the #
refers to the version number.
Here you select your Com port. The
LAN option is for use with the ISO-
E. The HTR-2400 is typically set to
19200 baud and CTS is usually set
to Ignored. To verify communication,
you can press the either one of the
red or blue squares. The blue bar
at the top of the screen will display
feedback coming in.
By selecting the View Commands
and/or View Feedback options,
separate windows open. These dis-
play both Hex and ASCII codes as
some ADA components operate on
Hex while other. The Home Theater
system of the HTR-2400, operate on
HEX but the ASCII Code will read
the function or feedback. For those
programming other systems for con-
trol of the HTR-2400, the string from
the View Command window can be
copied and then pasted.
By selecting the Theater side tab,
you open on the Input/Record top
tab. Here you can select inputs and
also determine the Final Input
which is the last input label that can
be accessed prior to returning to in-
put 1. This permits you to limit the
number of components the theater
can access to just the ones that are
on the home theater system.
The bottom of the display permits
you to recall the four Volume, Tone,
and Balance Presets as well as
adjust Volume Levels in either con-
tinuous 1 dB Steps or one-shot .5
dB Steps. You can also store the
four Volume Presets, Mute,
Unmute, and turn the theater Off.
