PC Program Setup
On the Room Control tab, you can
select Inputs, adjust Volume, Bass,
Treble, Midrange, Balance, and
Mute on or off and Room Off or All
Off. You can also set the Loudness
and Limiter filters on or off. You can
also store Presets for Volume, Bal-
ance and Tones (which include the
filter settings). You can also deter-
mine whether the room turns on to
its Last Used acoustical settings or
whether it Turns On with Recall 1
(volume, balance and tone preset
1s). ADA strongly recommends set-
ting a great acoustical level, then
storing volume, balance and tone
presets 1, and selecting Turn-On w/
Recall 1. Finally, you can set a
room’s Maximum Volume Level as
well as have the room track one or
several of the four Party Groups.
On the Party Testing & Input Trim
tab, you can set the input trim levels
for each of the eight sources. This
will permit you to maintain even au-
dio levels while switching inputs. If
you want to see the current input trim
levels, press the small red square
in the lower right corner for a Screen
Update request. You can test your
Party Groups by selecting an input
from the pull down window and then
pressing the desired Party Group
button.
The Power Setup tab permits you
to setup the HTR-2400’s four source
AC outlets. Here, you assign a
source (input) to the appropriate AC
outlet. If you have a single source
that can be switched via AC and this
component has more than one au-
dio output (more than one source on
the system), you can have its single
AC connection turn on with multiple
inputs by checking the same AC
outlet for each input. Again, the red
square cause the screen to update.
