PC PROGRAM SETUP - MULTI-ROOM
The PC program for the setup of the
HTR-2400’s Multi-Room system is
called HTR-MR#.exe, where the #
refers to the version number.
Here you select your Com port. The
LAN option is for use with the ISO-
E. The HTR-2400 is typically set to
19200 baud and CTS is usually set
to Ignored. To verify communication,
you can press the Global Version
Request button. The Audio card
version number will appear in the
window. This will indicate that com-
munication is established.
If you need to reset the multi-room
system of the HTR-2400, press the
Restore To Factory Defaults but-
ton. This will clear all presets and
trim levels.
By selecting the View Commands
and/or View Feedback options,
separate windows open. These dis-
play both Hex and ASCII codes as
some ADA components operate on
Hex while others, like the Multi-room
system of the HTR-2400, operate on
ASCII. For those programming other
systems for control of the HTR-2400,
the ASCII text from the View Com-
mand window can be copied and
then pasted.
The Room Control tab accesses
most room specific features. As you
change tabs, it may be necessary
to request a Screen Update by
pressing the small red square in the
lower left hand corner of the screen.
Room 1 is the default room selected.
To setup other rooms, pull down on
the Room Selector window. Either
function will cause the screen to
update with the room’s current state.
