To begin the setup of the
home theater, determine
speaker size and the
number of speakers you
are using. While the ar-
row is on HT SPEAKER,
press the Mode knob.

Turn the Mode knob
so that the arrow is
on the words SIZE.
Then, press the Mode knob
to engage the size menu.
Note that the * (star) shifts
from the default TRIM fea-
ture to the SIZE feature.
Also, the display changes
slightly showing the speak-
ers current size settings.

Press Mode To Enter
An arrow above the L in
the word LEFT will also
appear indicating that
you are ready to adjust
the Left channel. Use
the Volume knob to se-
lect between the Large
or Small speaker setting.
Please note, the stan-
dard setting is SMALL.
Note, that as you change the speaker size
for the left channel, the right channel tracks.
Large Speakers - Typically, speakers that
can play low frequencies.
Small Speakers - Standard - Typically
speakers designed to work in conjunction
with a subwoofer. Also the THX standard.
