On the Volume Setup page, one can set volume
parameters for all eight rooms of the whole-house
system. This includes setting a room’s maximum
volume level, storing volume presets, and select-
ing if a room turns on to the last acoustical set-
tings used in that room or to all presets stored on
Preset 1 (including Volume, Tones, and Balance
Presets 1).
When the arrow is on the
room name/number, turn-
ing the Volume knob per-
mits you to cycle through
the eight rooms on the
system.
Once the desired room is
selected, turning the
Mode knob advances the
arrow to the next feature.

When on Volume, you can alter a rooms
volume level. This is useful for setting up
the four Volume Presets. Alternately, you
could also adjust the room’s volume level
from its keypad or control.
Volume Preset 1 can be used as the turn
on preset volume level.
Turn the Mode knob to advance to the next fea-
ture, Volume Max, which refers to the maximum
volume level the room can reach. This feature is
useful to prevent a room from either distorting or
playing louder than intended. Use the Volume
knob to adjust the room’s maximum volume level.
Turn the Mode knob to advance to the next fea-
ture, Turn On With, which determines if the room
will turn on to its last acoustical settings used or
turn on to a preset acoustical setting. The pre-
set number recalled involves all Preset 1 func-
tions, including Volume, Tones, and Balance. As
such, this feature is ideal for starting at the per-
fect acoustical level each and every time the room
is turned on. To alter between Last Used or Pre-
set Recall number 1, turn the Volume knob.
