Terminal emulator software, such as Putty or TeraTerm, should be used when a user wants to check or
change reader parameters via ASCII messages.

GET
Version of rf module built into reader, is RFID firmware.
Example:

Host → Reader
Host sends message.

Host ← Reader
Reader responds with the value of the
version.
FWVER
GET
Firmware version of the reader is the firmware of the Autoid System.
Example:

Reader responds with the value of
the version.
RDRNAME
GET
Reader name automatically generated.
