Filter cleaning Procedures

1. Lower the temperature down to 90 degrees and let

unit run for about 10 minutes. This gives the heating

element a chance to cool down.

Now unplug the GFCI from the wall.

2. Place 3 caps over two suction and one water

return fittings in spa.

Open Bleed Valve on top of the filter bucket. There will a small amount of water to flow out. To avoid any water to spill onto floor or surfaces, it is advised to place a towel around the bleeder valve Place towel around this section 3. Turn filter lid retaining lock lid counter clock wise and remove, remove filter lid, lift out and remove filter cartridge. Filter goes in with the Black Foam end down. Do not lose this Gasket 4.

7. Remove 3 caps from inside spa suction & return fittings. 8. Open air bleeder valve counter-clockwise until water spews out, then close clock-wise. 9. Plug GFCI back into wall outlet. Reset temperature to 104 degrees. Each time you interrupt power to the unit, you must reset the temperature to the desired degree.

Verify there is good water flow by placing finger on water returns inlet, hold there for 10-15 and slowly move finger away. You should feel a short burst of warm water. Replace top and cover securely.
