4. Raiseorlowerthebedtomatchthegurneyheight.Refertotheowner’smanual
providedwiththebed.
5. Whenthemattresshasreachedmaximumfirmness,performoneofthefollowing:
•BedtoGurneyTransfer‐Slidethepatientontothegurney.
•GurneytoBedTransfer‐Slidethepatientontothebed.
Transferring Patient From/To a Wheelchair
WARNING
ALWAYS engage the wheel locks of the bed and the wheel locks of the wheelchair
before transferring the patient between the bed and the wheelchair.
1. Engagethewheellocksofthebed.Refertotheowner’smanualprovidedwiththebed.
2. Engagethewheellocksofthewheelchair,ifapplicable.Refertotheowner’smanual
providedwiththewheelchair.
3. PresstheMaxInflatebuttontoachievemaximummattresspressure.
4. Raiseorlowerthebedtomatchthewheelchairheight.Refertotheowner’smanual
providedwiththebed.
5. Whenthemattresshasreachedmaximumfirmness,performoneofthefollowing:
•BedtoWheelchairTransfer‐Slidethepatientontothewheelchair.
• WheelchairtoBedTransfer‐Slidethepatientontothebed.

NOTE:Forthisprocedure,refertoFIGURE 2.5.
1. Performoneofthefollowing:
• MA90ZPowerUnit‐Pressandholdthetabsonthehoseconnector(Detail“B”).
• MA95ZPowerUnit‐Lifttheconnectorcover(Detail“A”).
2. Pullthehoseconnector(Details“B”and“C”)fromthecontrolunitconnectors.
NOTE:MA95ZOnly‐Ifthe
hoseconnectorisdifficulttorelease,pullthehoseconnectordown
andthenaway.
3. MA90ZOnly‐DisconnecttheREDCPRconnectorlocatedonthehose(Detail“D”).
