Requirements and Recommendations
Wyse Excel Viewer requirements and recommendations include the following:
• Wyse Microsoft® Internet Explorer 6.0 for Microsoft® Windows® CE Add-on must be
installed prior to installing Wyse Excel Viewer (see “Internet Explorer 6.0” on page 21).
• Document must be Microsoft® Office 97, 2000, or XP Excel .xls document format.
Portable Document Format (PDF) Viewer 1.0
Wyse PDF Viewer allows a user to view PDF files (using Internet Explorer) that conform to
Adobe Portable Document Format specifications (.pdf document formats version 1.3).

Wyse PDF Viewer includes the following notable features:
• Launch Wyse PDF Viewer directly through Internet Explorer - Users can launch the
Wyse PDF Viewer from an Internet Explorer page that has a reference to a PDF
document (user clicks the PDF link and selects Open from the current location).
• Toggle between windows - Users can toggle between a PDF Viewer window and other
open windows on the desktop.
• Robust navigation ability - Users can navigate within the PDF document using mouse,
keyboard, and page navigation.
• Robust viewing ability - Users can change the zoom level (magnification) for the
document (25%, 50%, 100%, Page Width, or Full Page) for better viewing experience.
