Aironet Wireless 2.2
Aironet Wireless provides the following support to the Aironet PCMCIA and PCI adapters:
Driver support to enable the Aironet adapters
A user interface (Cisco Aironet Wireless Setup Control Panel Applet) to access several
client utilities that interact with the driver to adjust client adapter settings and display
information about the adapter
A dialog box (LEAP Login) to allow user input for LEAP credentials
A utility (Upgrade Firmware) to facilitate updates of adapter firmware
About the Add-on

Known Issues and Workarounds:
Adapter fails to establish connection using MIC (Message Integrity Check) security
with static WEP key.
Downgrading Add-on causes old Aironet applet to be displayed. As a workaround, first
remove current Aironet Add-on and then downgrade to previous build.
About the Adapters
The Cisco Aironet 340 and 350 Series PCMCIA Wireless Adapter (AIR-PCM342 and
AIR-PCM352) provides wireless LAN function in a PC Card (PCMCIA) form factor. The
Cisco Aironet 350 Series PCI Wireless Adapter (AIR-PCI352) provides wireless LAN
function in a PCI form factor. The wireless LAN function is compliant with the IEEE802.11b
standard with data rates up to 11Mbps.
