Chapter 7 Using Advanced Settings
System
Use the “System” section of this screen to configure the following two option
Broadband Router’s Hostname
Specify the Router’s host name by entering it into the this text box. The host
name is also the Router’s URL address, so it can be entered here rather than
192.168.1.1.
Local Domain
Specify the network’s local domain by entering it into this text box.
Actiontec MegaControl Panel
Use this section to configure the following:
Automatic Refresh of System Monitoring Web Pages
Click in this check box to activate the automatic refresh of system monitoring
web pages.
Prompt for Password When Accessing via LAN
Click in this check box to force users who try to access the MegaControl Panel
from the LAN (local area network) to enter the password.
Warn User Before Network Configuration Changes
Click in this check box to activate user warnings before network configuration
changes take effect.
Session Lifetime
Enter the time period, in seconds, between MegaControl Panel web page refreshes.
