2.1 Performing a Quick Setup
To perform a quick setup on the Gateway, have the Welcome Letter or ISP
Worksheet handy. If the document is not available, contact the ISP immediately.
To access Quick Setup screens:
Open a Web browser. In the “Address” text box, type: 1.
http://192.168.1.1
then press Enter on the keyboard.
The “LogIn” screen appears. Enter a password in both the “New Password” 2.
and “Re-type New Password” text boxes. Make sure to write the password
down on a piece of paper and keep it in a safe place for future reference, as
you will need it to access the Gateway’s firmware graphical user interface
(GUI).
