Step 1 After you have installed the modem into your machine, turn on the power
and allow the system to boot normally.
Step 2 Windows 95 will start the Update Device Driver Wizard and immediately
identify the modem as a “PCI Communications Device”. Check the drive
path for the correct drive letter. It may be necessary to change the drive
letter to that of the CD-ROM drive. Insert the modem’s installation CD-
ROM into your computer’s CD-ROM drive. Wait about 10 seconds, so
that the CD-ROM can be read by your system, then click the Next button.
Step 3 At the next screen, Windows will ask if you want to use the driver for the
“56K PCI Call Waiting Modem.” Click Finish. Windows will complete the
installation of the modem.
