5. Select File and printer sharing for Microsoft Networks and click
OK.
6. In the File and Print Sharing dialog box, be sure both the selections
have a check mark beside them. If not, click on the box next to each
statement.
7. Click OK. The Network dialog box reappears.
8. Click the Identification tab. Then complete it as follows:
• Computer Name: Enter any name you want. (for example, My
Computer, John, CPU654). Use a unique name for each computer
you want to have on your network.
• Workgroup: This field lets you assign a unique name for your net-
work. The same name must be specified up on every other comput-
er you want to have on your network.
