NOTE: Microsoft Windows XP provides a service called Wireless Zero

Configuration to control wireless network devices. This service dupli-

cates some services provided by the configuration utility. When the

Wireless Zero Configuration service is activated, the Configuration.

Encryption, and IBSS tabs and corresponding commands in the pop-

up menu do not appear. Ending the Wireless Zero Configuration service

reactivates these main screen tabs and pop-up menu commands.

Viewing Status Information (Status Tab)

The Status tab in the main screen shows status information about your

wireless network connection.
