1 Introduction

This manual will guide the user through the setup of the Actiontec zControl, our new

home monitoring and home control system.

Make sure to read all instructions before proceeding with the installation.

This manual assumes all of the instructions in the Quick Start Guide have been

completed. If not, get the Quick Start Guide and follow the instructions.

• Theses steps should be completed before proceeding:

• zControl is powered up and connected to the local network.

• Online registration with the Portal Server has been completed and zControl has

been activated.
