Event Configuration
Event configurations are the responses to be performed when an event is triggered. For
most types of responses, you can create several different preset responses, then mix and
match in event rules. Some responses are not supported in all IP devices (e.g.: DO, PTZ).
Event Motion Detection profile is also a triggerable response, but the parameters are defined
through the Video Adjust page, not in Event page.
The configurable responses are classified as Digital I/O ports, Notification messages, Upload
Image / Snapshot, Send URL Commands and go to PTZ Presets.
Digital I/O ports
Digital I/O ports (selected models only) read and control the voltage difference in the circuit,
and respond to it. They are useful in connecting to a wide variety of devices. D/I is a trigger,
while D/O is a response. Both are setup here. Both have a low voltage state and a high voltage
state, noted as 0 and 1.
