Serial Port B
This setting allows you to assign control of serial port B. The options are Enabled
(user dened), Disabled and Auto (BIOS controlled).
Mode
This setting allows you to set the type of device that will be connected to serial
port B. The options are Normal and IR (for an infrared device).
Base I/O Address
This setting allows you to select the base I/O address for serial port B. The op-
tions are 3F8, 2F8, 3E8 and 2E8.
Interrupt
This setting allows you to select the IRQ (interrupt request) for serial port B. The
options are IRQ3 and IRQ4.
Floppy Disk Controller
This setting allows you to assign control of the oppy disk controller. The options
are Enabled (user dened), Disabled, and Auto (BIOS and OS controlled).
Base I/O Address
This setting allows you to select the base I/O address for the Floppy port. The
options are Primary and Secondary.
DMI Event Logging
Access the submenu to make changes to the following settings.
Event Log Validity
This is a display to inform you of the event log validity. It is not a setting.
Event Log Capacity
This is a display to inform you of the event log capacity. It is not a setting.
View DMI Event Log
Highlight this item and press <Enter> to view the contents of the event log.
Event Logging
This setting allows you to Enable or Disable event logging.
ECC Event Logging
This setting allows you to Enable or Disable ECC event logging.
