1. Power-On Button: Press and hold for a few seconds to turn on the system.

2. Reset Button: To restore to default settings, please follow the below steps:

(1) After powering on the device, press and hold this button.

(2) The System Status LED will flash once and then blink. Keep holding this button during

the blinking for 5 seconds, release the button as the LED turns stable.

(3) The System Status LED will If you just want to shutdown or reboot GNR, please use

the software interface Shutdown Button or Reboot Button (Setup→Power) instead.

3. LED Indicators: The LED indicators show the current device status.

-Power Status LED:

The Blue light next to Power-On Button indicates that the device is powered.

-System Status LED:

The yellow-green light below indicates the system service status. If it is lit continuously, the

system is running and hard drives are operating normally, recording may proceed. If the

disks are not ready for recording, then this light will continue flashing.

-HDD Status LED:

There are two green lights above each HDD Bay. The left one is continuously lit if the HDD

is correctly installed. The right one indicates the working status of the disk, if the disk is

recording, it will flash continuously; if not, the green light will be inactive.

4. HDD Bays: The 5 HDD bays each contains one HDD tray. The tray is removable from the

front panel.
