Malfunc-
tion
The parameterized malfunction reaction in the 
A29 parameter. Note that this event often results 
in the triggering of Event 36: Overvoltage. In this 
case, the motor coasts.

The braking resistor 
may not be designed 
according to the appli-
cation.
Check whether the load state of the 
braking resistor has caused over-
heating.
Check the drive configuration. Con-
sider a DC link connection or the use 
of a braking resistor with a larger 
power rating.
Programmed acknowledgement; ac-
knowledgement by switching of/on is 
not recommended as in this case the

t model is reset to 80 %. As a result, 
there is a risk that the braking resistor 
will be damaged.
