6.3 Interface X101 (BE encoder)

You can connect the following encoders to X101:

• HTL encoder

• Stepper motor signals

NOTICE

When a BE encoder is used, the binary inputs BE3, BE4 and BE5 should not

be used for any other function in the application.

BE encoder

1 From the parameter list, select the parameter B26.

2In B26, set 1:BE encoder.

3In H40, select whether you are connecting stepper motor signals or an incre-

mental encoder (HTL)..

4 Make further parameter assignments in H41 and H42.

5 Transfer the settings to the inverter and save them.

6 Switch the inverter off and back on again.
