3.3 System Setup
The system setup page (accessed by clicking on the System Setup item from the configuration menu) allows to set all the eWON system
parameters and looks as follows:
Figure 9: eWON system configuration page
This section has a high impact on the eWON behavior (mainly from a communication point of view). You should fill it in carefully.
The System setup page is divided in three sections:
• The Main system setup (General)
Defines all the eWON global settings, except for settings regarding the eWON communication. The user can modify the Email, FTP
and NTP parameters, along with reboot.
• The Communication setup section
Includes all the communication settings of the eWON. These settings are separated from the Main settings and even stored at a
different place inside the device in order to be able to format the eWON flash file system without affecting the communication
settings (see also chapter “eWON configuration and files storage” on page 199. A menu allows the user to reset the
communication parameters to their default values.
• The storage setup section
Used to set up the way the memory resources from the eWON are used.
3.3.1 General system setup
The General system page was presented in firmware 4 with a links menu on the left. These links are replaced by a tree with icons in firmware 5
