To view the TCAS test menu and system status pages along with the troubleshooting
messages, refer to the FAULT ISOLATION section.
To exit the extended test mode, set the ATC/TCAS mode selector switch to Mode S ON.
B. TAWS Flight Deck Display Test Modes
The T
3
CAS System provides three types of test modes: standard self-test, extended self-
test, and a maintenance report. All test modes can be activated by the TAWS self-test
button (i.e., the switch on the flight deck, not on the LRU face). The standard test mode
can also be activated by an onboard maintenance system (OMS) or a central fault display
interface unit (CFDIU).
NOTE:
The extended self-test and a maintenance report cannot be activated using
4096 Ident Code Number
