audio and video discs a lower writing speed is recommended to assure
quality.
Client Error Message
The following table explains what each client error message meant.
Error Message Description
DRIVE TRAY IN
FAILED
Client uni t’s disc tray could not be closed
DRIVE TRAY OUT
FAILED
Client uni t’s disc tray could not be opened
PICK UP FAILED Client unit could not find the expected disc to pick up
from disc tray
RELEASE DISC
FAILED
Client unit’s robot arm could not release disc to the
rejection disc slot
CAN’T PICK UP
DISC FROM TRAY
Client unit’s robot arm has malfunctioned and could not
pick up disc from the disc tray
LOAD DISC T O
DRIVE FAILED
Client uni t’s blank disc storage has malf un ctioned
DRIVER TRAY NO
DISC
Client unit could not find any disc on the disc tray when
it is expecting disc from blank di sc storage
INITIAL PROCESS
FAILED
Client unit initialization failed
SYNC FAILED Client unit’s synchronization with the recorder drive
