Chapter 12. Notifications

Acronis Recovery for MS SQL Server can notify you when a task is complete using an SNMP

service or via e-mail.

By default all notifications are disabled.

12.1 E-mail Notifications

Specify the default e-mail account that will be used for notifications regarding the backup

operation process. Provide the e-mail address to which notifications will be sent and the

outgoing SMTP server name. A Username and a password may also be needed if the SMTP

server requires authentication.

You can choose when you want to receive notifications:

• after successful completion of the operation;

• if the operation fails.

Click the Additional e-mail parameters… link to specify the From and Subject fields for

the notification e-mail.

You can check if the settings are correct by clicking the Send Test E-mail Message

button.
