In a managed vault (--loc=bsp://<storage node>/<vault name>), the operation is always

executed by the storage node service. If you specify a different service, it will transmit the

command to asn.

2.8.2 catalog vault

Performs a full cataloging of the backups stored in the specified location.

The following backups will be skipped because they are not supported by the data catalog:

 Backups contained in encrypted and password-protected archives.

 Backups created by using Acronis True Image Echo or earlier product versions.

 Backups that have simplified names (p. 91).

Usage tip. To speed up backups, you can prohibit full cataloging by adding the --cataloging=fast

parameter to the backup command. Use the catalog backup (p. 46), catalog archive (p. 42), or

catalog vault (p. 61) command to perform the full cataloging at a later time.
