Extinguishant: .....FE-241 (R-124) Chlorotetrauorethane. For use in normally unoccupied areas only.
Actuation: ...............CG2 systems, direct heat only.

Limitations: ............DO NOT install a Fireboy rated for less than the total volume of your engine compartment. You may NOT
combine the rated volume of two systems to equal the total volume of your engine compartment.
Rellability: ............All extinguishers are currently manufactured in rellable cylinders; systems in a re are not rellable.

Fireboy Automatic CG-2 Systems
Coast Guard Approved. They feature an electrically operated control panel lamp and pressure gauge to indicate
whether the unit is charged or discharged. Wire required for lamp hook-up to the pressure switch on the cylinder
is not included, but stainless steel mounting brackets are. Automatic, heat-activated discharge. One year limited
warranty. Diesel powered craft must also install the Automatic Engine Shutdown System or engines may
consumetheagentbeforeitcanextinguishthere.

Fireboy Manual MA-2 Systems
Coast Guard Approved. All feature the same electrically operated control panel indicator lamp and pressure
gauge as the CG2 series. In addition, they provide optional, manual activation by means of a mechanical pull
cable. Cable kits are packaged and sold separately and available in lengths of 6 to 30 feet, in two foot increments.
(Longer cable kits available on special order). Primary, heat activation is still automatic. The manual feature is a
back up for those who prefer this extra measure of control, or for inspected vessels who are required by USCG
regulation. One year limited warranty.

Fireboy/Xintex Charged/Discharged Panel
Attractive 2-1/2" round plate has adhesive back for
easy panel mounting. Green warning lamp provides
constant monitoring of the system. One comes in
each CG and MA systems.

Fireboy/Xintex Audible Discharge Alarm
For CG-2 and MA-2 Systems. Features an integrated
alarm horn for a simple, single instrument,
installation. The solid state circuit allows direct
connection to a 12 volt battery buss, to provide
round-the-clock discharge alert. Instrument display
includes press-to-test button, visual lamp and audible horn.
