ACR Hydrostatic Release Kit
When submerged in water between
5-13 ft. (1.5 - 4 m), the HydroFix will disengage the
rod allowing the Category 1 bracket to release the
EPIRB. ACR’s HydroFix is now part of the standard
replacement kit for the following EPIRBs* and

Onboard GPS (2797.4 only) acquires LAT/LON when the
unit is activated, your LAT/LON is transmitted as soon as
acquired providing rescue agencies with your exact position
to within 100 metres (110 yards).

With three levels of integrated signal technology - GPS positioning,
a powerful 406 MHz signal and 121.5 MHz homing capability
- the AquaLink quickly and accurately relays your position to a
worldwide network of Search and Rescue satellites. The AquaLink
broadcasts a unique registered distress signal that not only tells
rescuers where you are, but who you are. The onboard GPS can
xyourpositiontowithin100metersandthenutilizesapowerful
406 MHz signal to relay your distress call to orbiting satellites. As
local Search and Rescue is deployed, a separate homing signal and
integrated LED strobe light guide rescuers to your exact location.
