Configuring Front-End Services
Front-end services provide client access to namespace storage. Supported front-end
services include
• Network File System (NFS), and
• Common Internet File System (CIFS).
You can enable one or more of these services on a global server, so that clients can
access them through the global server’s fully-qualified domain name (FQDN) or the
virtual server’s VIP. For each service, you determine which namespace volumes are
available as storage resources.
