Installation guide

Release Abstract
This document serves as the Release Notes for the Acopia FreedomFabric™ Network Operating System
(NOS), version 2.07.001 (shortened to “2.7.1” in these notes). The FreedomFabric™ NOS runs on the
Acopia Adaptive Resource Switch (ARX®).
Console Access
To access the Command-Line Interface (CLI) through the Console interface, use a terminal-emulation
program (such as HyperTerminal) and a console cable provided by Acopia Networks. Set the terminal-
emulation program to 9600-8-N-1, and connect the cable to the Console port on the ARX front panel.
