R e l a y s t a t u s S e t t h e r e l a y s t a t u s t o On” if some
On/Off relays need to be activated during
the “On Time portion of minimum ventilation
cycles. Refer to section 4.8.2 to assign On/
Off fan relays.
Minimum ventilation timer Set the timer
that is used by the on/off fan outputs in
minimum ventilation. The timer is composed
of an On Time” and “Cycle Time . Note that
the “Cycle Time includes the “On Time”, it
must thus be longer than the “On Time. *This
parameter is common to all programs.
6.1.3. Minimum Ventilation Curve
A curve is composed of 10 steps. Each step
specifies a day number and a minimum ven-
tilation speed (or “On Time) for that day (the
day number refers to the animal age). When
the curve is activated, the controller changes
the minimum ventilation speed or the fan “On
Time” every hour in a linear fashion between
consecutive steps of the curve. When the last
step is reached, the controller keeps using the
speed (or “On Time) associated to that day.

Notes: Certain restrictions apply to reduce
the risk of errors:
The highest possible day number is 450.1.
Decreasing day numbers is not allowed.2.
All ten steps must be specified. If you don’t 3.
need 10 different steps, repeat the last speed
or “On Time for each unnecessary step.
The 4. “On Time & speed curves must be set
separately for each program in use.
The 5. “On Time & speed curves must be set
separately for each variable output.

Set the following parameters:2.
The following parameters can only be
modified while the curve is off.
If the min speed curve is running, it is still
possible to adjust the value of all curve
steps simultaneously with the curve
offset parameter (see next section).
Current day — This is the current age of the
animals. This value may be changed to move
backward or forward on the curve. A change
in the current day also changes the animal
age in the Age & mortality menu.
Min Speed — The minimum speed displayed
on top represents the minimum ventilation
speed that is currently being used by the
selected variable fan.
On Time The “On Time” displayed on top
represents the minimum ventilation run time
that is currently being used by the selected
variable fan. *This reading is accessible if a On
Time” curve is selected.
Day numbers Set the day at which each
step star ts. T he day numbe r refers to the an i -
mal age. It is adjustable from -5 to 450 days.
Negative values are used to prepare the house
before letting the animals enter. t
Min S p e ed S te p s Set the fan spee d associ-
ate d with eac h s te p of the cur ve. *This param-
eter only applies to the minimum speed curve and it
can only be modied while the curve is disabled.
ON Time Steps Assign a minimum ventila-
tion “On Time” to each step of the curve. *This
parameter only applies to the “On Timecurve and it
can only be modied while the curve is disabled.
Status Sele ctOn” to activate the selected
curve. Once the curve is on, the controller
automatically adjusts the speed or the run
time of the selected variable fan in minimum
ventilation.
6.1.4. Modifying the Curve Points
You can adjust the speed associated to all
steps of a minimum speed curve while the
curve is running.

to be removed or added to all steps of the
minimum speed curve (+/- 10%). Set this
parameter separately for the curve of variable
outputs 1 & 2.*This parameter is accessible if the
minimum speed curve is currently running.
