The FS / FSC series flanged wye strainers are perfectly suited for protecting downstream
equipment from fouling due to debris. The FS is provided with a painted exterior and the
FSC is coated with FDA approved epoxy inside and out. The FSC is an excellent choice for
preventing debris fouling of any large diameter reduced pressure principle assembly, such as
the Wilkins 375.
Local codes shall govern installation requirements. Unless other wise specified, the assembly shall be mounted with sufficient clearance for maintenance
in accordance with the manufacturers’ instructions the latest edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code. The installation shall be made so that no part of the
unit can be submerged.
