Features Applications
• For use on reduced pressure principle backflow preventers models 375,
475, 975XL
• Fits sizes 3/4” thru 10”
• Kit includes relief valve cover, monitor switch assembly, relief valve
spring and diaphragm assembly
• When connected to a low voltage alarm circuit, the monitor switch
electrically supervises the relief valve in the closed position
• In the event of a backflow condition, the relief valve closes an electrical
circuit, signaling that a possible relief valve discharge may be occurring

In the event of a backflow condition, the relief valve closes an electrical contact on the MS
switch, signaling that a possible relief valve discharge may be occurring. The integral relief
valve monitor switch kit is ideal for converting backflow preventers in use in mechanical rooms,
basements and enclosures where undetected relief valve discharge could potentially cause
water damage.
