The Wilkins 475 / 475V series reduced pressure principle assemblies are the perfect answer for cramped
installations that rule out a traditional horizontal valve. The 475, with its “N” pattern design, is the perfect
valve for use in retrofit applications where a horizontal valve will just not fit. The 475V allows for a vertical
up-up flows, and can be situated in very small closets or mechanical rooms. Both valves offer the low
head loss provided by the patented Wilkins Compound Check
®
, while providing high hazard protection
against both backsiphonage and backpressure. Using the valve setter, installation is simple and easy and
very cost-effective.

Local codes shall govern installation requirements. To be installed in accordance with the manufacturers’ instructions
and the latest edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code. Unless otherwise specified, the assembly shall be mounted at
a minimum of 12” (305mm) and a maximum of 30” (762mm) above adequate drains with sufficient side clearance
for testing and maintenance. The installation shall be made so that no part of the unit can be submerged.
