differential relief valve located between two independently operated
spring-loaded center guided check valves, wye pattern body

different configurations

Installation flexibility was the main focus when Wilkins created the 975XLV. In high hazard
applications, the 975XLV will protect against both backpressure and backsiphonage, while
allowing vertical up-up and up-down installation via the union connected elbows. The
sweeping elbows along with the superior design qualities of the 975XL, yield low head loss
and repeatability that Wilkins backflow preventers are known for.

Local codes shall govern installation requirements. To be installed in accordance with the manufacturers’ instructions and the latest edition of the Uniform
Plumbing Code. Unless otherwise specified, the assembly shall be mounted at a minimum of 12” (305mm) and a maximum of 30” (762mm) above
adequate drains with sufficient side clearance for testing and maintenance. The installation shall be made so that no part of the unit can be submerged.
