OptionsTypical Installation Features Applications
The Wilkins 876 series is a combination of the Model 80CI or 80BR boiler feed pressure reducing
valve and a 760 dual check with intermediate atmospheric vent. Designed to reduce pressure
on boiler feed lines, the 876 also prevents polluted water from entering the boiler feed line due
to backpressure or backsiphonage. Although the 876 handles two problems at once, its pre-
assembled construction eases installation, thereby saving the installer time and money.
Under certain conditions, The Model 760 will spill water from the vent port. WARNING: Provisions must be made to collect this spillage through an air
gap or other means. The vent port should never be directly piped into a drainage ditch, sewer or pump. Under no circumstances should the vent port
or drain line be plugged. Local codes shall govern installation requirements. To be installed in accordance with the manufacturers’ installation instruc-
tions and the latest edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code. The installation shall be made so that no part of the unit can be submerged.
