Updated the Search view, Selection view, and Netlist Browser View to mention new drag-
and-drop support for assignment of placement region constraints
– Updated the Netlist Browser View to discuss the now-asynchronous tree population to avoid
performance issues with massive designs
– Updated Selection view to mention new capability to initiate drag-and-drop operations with
branch nodes to use all selected objects (even beyond the current 200) of that type.
– Updated the Options View and Implementation Options areas to mention the new Tcl command
reset impl option that will reset a given impl option to the current ACE version’s default
value.

– Enhancing timing-related data to better represent synchronous-specific concepts (22iHD vs.

Overhauled the Critical Paths View with different data representations for synchronous (HD)
and asynchronous (HP) target devices. HD parts now use a treetable, grouped by clock
domain, and sorted by the criticality of paths. HD parts now have critical path types of
Setup Violated, Setup Met, Hold Violated, and Hold Met. HD parts may have their treetables
filtered by path types.

· Updated Timing Report for synchronous parts to describe the separation of ”Critical
Setup (max) Timing Paths” and ”Critical Hold (min) Timing Paths”.
· Added the Clock Report
